Retreat Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Acceptance of Terms
By completing a booking form and making payment for this retreat, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Your booking is not confirmed until full payment has been received and you have received written confirmation from the retreat organiser.
These Terms and Conditions form a legally binding agreement between you ("the Guest") and the retreat organiser ("the Organiser").
2. Payment
Full payment is required to secure your place on the retreat.
The price paid will depend on the accommodation option selected at the time of booking. Prices are subject to availability and may change for future bookings.
The Guest is responsible for ensuring that all booking information provided is accurate.
3. Accommodation Selection
Guests must select their preferred accommodation option during booking.
Room availability is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of payment.
The Organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to room allocations where necessary, while making every effort to provide an equivalent accommodation standard.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Due to the nature of organising a retreat, accommodation, venues, suppliers, and services are booked in advance.
Payments are therefore non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances where the Guest is unable to attend due to a valid and evidenced reason.
Valid reasons may include, but are not limited to:
Serious illness or medical circumstances
Injury preventing attendance
Bereavement or funeral obligations
Other significant circumstances considered at the discretion of the Organiser
Supporting documentation may be required, such as a medical certificate or relevant official evidence.
Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing as soon as possible.
The Organiser reserves the right to assess each cancellation request individually.
5. Transfer of Booking
If a Guest is unable to attend, they may request to transfer their booking to another person.
Any transfer must be approved in writing by the Organiser before the replacement Guest attends.
The replacement Guest must agree to these Terms and Conditions and provide all required information before attending the retreat.
6. Health and Medical Information
Guests are responsible for informing the Organiser of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, injuries, or accessibility needs before attending the retreat.
The Organiser will make reasonable efforts to accommodate disclosed requirements but cannot guarantee that all needs can be met.
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically and medically able to participate in retreat activities.
7. Guest Responsibilities
Guests agree to:
Behave respectfully towards other guests, staff, facilitators, and the retreat venue.
Follow reasonable instructions provided by the Organiser.
Respect the property, facilities, and surrounding environment.
Avoid behaviour that may negatively affect the safety, comfort, or experience of others.
The Organiser reserves the right to ask a Guest to leave the retreat if their behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
8. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during the retreat.
The Organiser accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property unless caused by negligence.
9. Activities and Participation
Participation in all retreat activities is voluntary.
Guests are responsible for making their own decisions regarding participation and should seek professional medical advice where appropriate.
The Organiser is not responsible for injuries or losses arising from a Guest's failure to follow safety guidance or disclose relevant health information.
10. Changes to the Retreat
The Organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the retreat schedule, activities, facilitators, or arrangements where necessary.
Every effort will be made to maintain the quality and intention of the retreat.
11. Cancellation by the Organiser
In the unlikely event that the Organiser must cancel the retreat, Guests will be notified as soon as possible.
The Organiser's liability will be limited to the amount paid by the Guest for the retreat booking.
The Organiser is not responsible for additional costs incurred by Guests, including travel arrangements, accommodation outside the retreat, or other expenses.
12. Photography and Media
Guests may be photographed or recorded during the retreat for promotional or documentation purposes.
Guests may indicate their preference regarding photography consent during the booking process.
The Organiser will respect reasonable requests regarding the use of personal images.
13. Privacy
Personal information collected during booking will be used only for the purposes of administering the retreat, communicating with Guests, and providing relevant services.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Travel Insurance
Guests are strongly advised to arrange appropriate travel insurance before travelling to the retreat.
Travel insurance should provide suitable cover for the Guest’s personal circumstances, including but not limited to medical expenses, illness, injury, cancellation, delays, lost or stolen belongings, and any other travel-related risks.
The Guest is responsible for ensuring that their insurance policy is valid, adequate, and suitable for their individual needs.
The Organiser is not responsible for any costs, losses, or expenses incurred by the Guest due to circumstances that could have been covered by appropriate travel insurance.
By booking the retreat, the Guest acknowledges that they are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance before departure.

By completing payment and submitting your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
